These are the terms and conditions for selling on TheKeanEye.com
By agreeing to the terms and conditions in the registration form, you have agreed that you have read and understood our privacy policy and terms and conditions.
We may update or change our policies from time to time. We will do our best to inform every vendor of these changes but it is your responsibility to review them to ensure that you are up to date with any changes. Your continued use of our services after any policy changes indicates you have accepted the change.
- You are responsible for all taxes both personal and business accumulated by using this site. The sales tax collected from the customer will go to all vendors. It is your responsibility to remit those payments to CRA.
- You must be 18 or older to sell on The Kean Eye
- All information on your site must be accurate and true. You must have all rights to sell your content and you are not violate any 3rd party rights. Using false information of any kind is prohibited and is cause for your store to be removed from The Kean Eye immediately.
- You are responsible for your store name and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of that password.
- By opening your store on The Kean Eye you are giving your permission to use your items to help promote The Kean Eye which in turn will promote your store. We don’t claim any ownership of your items.
- The Kean Eye may from time to time change/alter your picture, this will only be done to help enhance your item. We may use it in a blog or as a featured item on our home page.
- The Kean Eye will not allow any tobacco products, alcohol, firearms, ammunition, drugs or drug paraphernalia to be sold in your store. Content that is abusive, obscene, racist or threatening will be removed immediately and may be cause for your store to be removed as well.
- The Kean Eye cannot be responsible for loss of profit, contracts, data or wasted expenditures or any other direct loss that is not reasonably foreseeable.
- If at any time you are unhappy with The Kean Eye you are welcome to contact us and we are happy to try and resolve any concerns you might have.
- As a vendor, you are not allowed to provide or request contact details to customers.
- As a vendor, you are not allowed to make alternative payment arrangements outside of TheKeanEye.com
- TheKeanEye.com is not responsible for refunds, exchanges or returns.
Termination
- The Kean Eye can terminate or suspend your account at any time for any reason.
- The Kean Eye may refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason.
- If you terminate your account for any reason you may lose information associated with your account, including your content.
- Cause for termination can and will include:
- Selling any of the prohibited items above
- Selling used or damaged products
- Sharing your contact details or social media with customers
- Requesting contact details from customers
- Accepting payments outside of TheKeanEye.com
Third Party Services
- As a part of The Kean Eye, we may use 3rd party services such as Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and analytic services. The Kean Eye is not associated with these 3rd party services.
- Payments are processed using a 3rd party payment processor (PayPal and Stripe). Payments are secure however, we recommend that you use a secure password which is different from the password you use for TheKeanEye.
- Personal information including name, email and address will not be shared with anyone unless it relates to payment processors for the sole purpose of completing payments.
Legal Ramifications
- The Kean Eye is not responsible for your actions or the products you sell. You agree to pay all legal costs related to your store or products.
- The Kean Eye recommends warning labels for materials used that could potentially cause harm or a choking hazard to a person, child or pet.
- You release The Kean Eye of any claims, demands or damages arising from any disputes between you and a customer.
How it works
- Subscriptions are billed on a bi-monthly basis.
- Any Items not sold will expire within the 60 days of your subscription plan start date.
- $15.00 for 50 items
- $22.00 for 100 items
- $34.00 for 250 items
- Additional $10.00 for 100 items can be purchased as a “top up” and expires when your renewal date comes up regardless of whether you used the 100 items.
- A 7% commission fee + HST is charged on all sales. If you offer personalization for an additional fee, that additional fee is added to the price you display.
- If you include shipping in your price, the 7% + HST will be charged to the total price.
Payments
TheKeanEye holds transactions for 15 days from the date of purchase. This is to ensure that the product was shipped and delivered to the customer.
Payments are made every two weeks using the payment method you have listed in your profile.
Shipping
We use StorePep to provide live shipping rates between Canada Post, you and your customer. If you choose to use Canada Post, TheKeanEye will collect the shipping fees from the customer and pay them directly to Canada Post.
You will then receive the option to create and print a shipping label. Once this is done, you simply have to print the label and drop the package off at the post office.
You will be able to track your shipment through our site.
If you choose to include the shipping cost into the price of your product, you are responsible to make the proper arrangements to ship the item and any fees associated. The item must be delivered within 7 business days from the date of purchase.
